A Decade of Spatial Computing and a Community Still Going Strong
with Soraya Jaber
CO-FOUNDER, STUDIO MEIJE
Soraya Jaber, co-founder of Studio Meije, joins me just days before WWDC to share early insights from the 2026 visionOS Professionals Survey, an unfiltered look at what developers are feeling, building, and hoping for.
We discuss what it takes to thrive through more than a decade in an industry that often wasn't ready for the technology, how AI is transforming what small studios can create, and why, despite the challenges, 85% of the visionOS community remains optimistic about the platform's future.

Roxana Monica Nagy.
"Spatial computing gives us something rare. A clean slate. A chance to ask what our relationship with technology should actually look like."
I am a creative technologist who has been building for Apple platforms since 2013. In 2017 I discovered augmented reality through some of the first ARKit projects in the industry, and that curiosity grew into leading immersive technology at a consulting agency, co-founding a spatial computing studio, and eventually creating Women in Spatial to amplify the women architecting the next medium.
